Anaheim Pepper Seeds

78 Days. Heirloom. Legendary extra large 7" long, mild pepper from Anaheim California. A roasting favorite since the early 1900's. A staple of Southwestern cuisine. Can be used fresh, roasted, fried, stuffed, in salsas and tamales. Can be dehydrated, canned, freeze dried, or frozen for later use. Does well in cool regions. Plants reach 2 1/2' tall and prefer afternoon shade in hot regions. Shade cloth may be needed to prevent sun scald. Sow indoors 6-8 weeks before transplanting out after temperatures are above 50 degrees. Full to part sun. Nutrient rich soil, average watering. capsicum annuum
