90-100 Days. Heirloom. Gorgeous bluish-purple and white upright flower spikes. A real standout in the landscape. This North American native is considered a hardy annual and grows to 24" tall. Blooms Summer through Fall. Scarification and soaking overnight aids germination. Attracts butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds and are somewhat fragrant. Direct sow as soon as soil can be worked in Spring or can be sown in early Fall. Can also be started indoors 4-8 weeks before transplanting out. Prefers full to part sun, average water, and moist, somewhat sandy, well draining soil. Deer and rabbit resistant. Zones 3-10 lupinus polyphyllus
