75 Days. Heirloom.  Stunning dark purple, almost black roots which retain their color after cooking. Purple vegetables are known to be high in antioxidants. Direct sow is best. Sow barely covered as soon as soil can be worked in Spring. Succession sow until mid- July for Fall/Winter harvest. Frost produces the sweetest roots. Carrots do best in well cultivated and amended beds. Full to part sun and consistent moisture.
