28 days baby 55 days mature. Open pollinated. A bibb type lettuce with red-tinged green leaves and a compact yellow-white center. Thick, tender, richly-flavored leaves in 4-6" rosettes. Heat and bolt resistant. Does well in Spring or Fall plantings. Sow lettuce seeds directly as soon as soil can be worked in Spring and again in late Summer, early Fall. Can harvest into Winter in most areas with good coverage. Very easy to grow. Lettuce does best with part sun and consistantly moist soil. Resistant to Mosaic Virus. lactuca sativa
