75 Days. Late 1800's French heirloom. One of the sweetest carrots around. Tapered 6" roots with broad shoulders and blunt tips. Sweet, old fashioned carrot flavor. Direct sow barely covered as soon as soil can be worked in Spring. Succession sow until mid- July for Fall/Winter harvest. Frost produces the sweetest roots. Carrots do best in a well cultivated and amended bed. Prefers full to part sun and consistent moisture. Excellent for fresh use, juicing, cooking, roasting, cold storage, canning, freezing, and freeze drying. daucus carota
