Known for being quite early for a slicer, withstanding cold weather, and consistently doing well in cooler regions. Continued to produce through a few Fall frosts in our garden while also surviving the heat. Slightly flattened 8-12 oz up to 1 pound pink-red beefsteak type with bold, true tomato flavor and a nice acid/sweet balance. Makes an excellent homegrown tomato juice. A great choice for fresh eating, salsa, or your favorite recipe. Can be frozen or canned for preservation.
