Excellent cut flowers and widely used medicinal herb. Attracts many beneficials to the garden. Easy to grow, carefree plants. Re-seeds readily. Seed heads are a Winter food source for birds. Direct sow in Spring as soon as soil can be worked or in early Fall. Can be started indoors 4-6 weeks before transplanting out. Prefers average to fertile soil, full sun, and average to low moisture.
