Easy to grow. Beets can be sown in succession from early Spring through mid-Summer for Fall harvest. Prefers nutrient rich soil, consistent moisture, and full to part sun. Roots of eating size can be left in the ground to harvest into winter with coverage. Beets are excellent to use raw, in juicing, cooked, roasted, canned, and frozen or freeze dried.
