90-120 Days. Heirloom. A rainbow of colorful flower spikes up to 40" tall. Lupines are native to North America and bloom Summer through Fall. Scarification and soaking overnight aids germination. Attracts butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds and are somewhat fragrant. Direct sow as soon as soil can be worked in Spring or can be sown in early Fall. Can also be started indoors 4-8 weeks before transplanting out. Prefers full to part sun, average water, and moist, somewhat sandy, well draining soil. Deer and rabbit resistant.
