Shirley Double Peony Poppy

80-120 Days. Heirloom. Fully double pom-pom type blooms in shades of red, pink, white, and purple. Blooms in late Spring to mid-Summer. 30" tall plants with 3-5" blooms. Direct sow in late Winter/early Spring, as soon as soil can be worked. Prefers full to part sun, average to fertile soil, and consistent moisture. Plants go dormant in the heat of Summer. Zones 3-9.  papaver somniferum
