28 days baby 55 days mature. Open pollinated. Blushed bronze leaves are green near base. Grow in full sun for the very deepest burgundy colored leaves. Large loose heads with mild flavor, even in heat. Very slow to bolt heat resistant variety. Does well in Spring or Fall plantings. Sow lettuce seeds directly as soon as soil can be worked in Spring and again in late Summer, early Fall. Can harvest into Winter in most areas with good coverage. Very easy to grow.
